Matthew Draper Addresses Efficiency in International Arbitration at Fordham University

Matthew Draper participated today in a panel discussion on recent developments in international arbitration at the inaugural event of the newly-established Fordham International Arbitration Association. Matthew addressed recent efforts by major arbitral institutions to increase the efficiency and speed of arbitrations, and the implications these changes may have for the popularity and legitimacy of international arbitration.


Other speakers included Meriam Al-Rashid of Dentons, Kabir Duggal of Baker McKenzie, and Camille Ng of the ICC International Court of Arbitration/SICANA.  The discussion was moderated by Fordham University Law professor Josefa Sicard-Mirabel.  The event was co-sponsored by the New York State Bar Association's Dispute Resolution Section.
